Car Boots on Anglesey, North Wales.

There are some great car boots on Anglesey, but most are from April onwards, apart from the biggest car boot site, which is at Mona showground every Sunday all year round - starts early. Entrance to Mona is just £1.

Valley hosts a car boot on a Tuesday, and a Sunday. Much smaller than the car boots mentioned above, but some good bargains to be had.

Anglesey Borough Council has recently announced plans to impose up to £4500 per annum charges on Anglesey car boots. Many will not be able to afford these enormous charges. What makes it even more ridiculous is that at Gwalchmai the council has spent a lot of money setting up a recycling base.
What better way is there of effective recycling than to allow people to trade their unwanted goods at car boots? Thousands of these items would end up in skips and clog up our already bulging landfill sites. Please think again Anglesey Council!
