High Resolution Photographs of Clydach Vale in the Rhondda Valleys.

Clydach Vale is in the Rhondda Fawr. The Cambrian Colliery (Coal Mine) was the scene of the las major mine accident in the Rhondda Valleys in the 1960's. Many of the victims were buried in a mass grave at Llethr Ddu (Trealaw) cemetery, and as a 12 year old lad I remember sitting on the top wall and watchuing the funerals.
