Cycling on the Island of Anglesey, North Wales.

St Mary's Church and War Memorial, Beaumaris
There are several bike routes on Anglesey, with dedicated cycling
lanes in many parts. There are also four organised cycle routes,
each named after birds (in welsh) which are mainly on country
roads but do occasionally cross an A or a B road. The starting
points
are
1/ Llyn Alaw
Visitor
Centre. 2/ Countryside Centre, Aberffraw. 3/ Trax Bike Hire,
Benllech. 4/ Beaumaris Leisure Centre. To see the picturesque
start of
one of those tours - Llyn Alaw Lake - click here.
I do not intend to go too much more detail, suffice to say
if you follow the link below to the council website, then
you will
be fully informed. Enjoy yourself, and take care, particularly
if children are accompanying you.
