High Resolution Photographs of Llwynypia in the Rhondda Valleys, Glamorgan, South Wales.

The owner of the Glamorgan Coal Mines - Archibald Hood - was much admired by the community, and on his passing they erected a statue in his honour.

Llwynypia hospital was where many of the children of the Rhondda Valleys were born in the 20th century.
