Rhoscolyn Beach on
the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales.

Rhoscolyn beach on Anglesey
Rhoscolyn beach is a secluded and pretty sandy beach, which
is quite difficult to reach. The reason for this is that the
only access is via a narrow winding lane, and if you were to
meet another vehicle coming in the opposite direction, there
are very few passing places. Nevertheless, Rhoscolyn beach is
well worth a visit. No onsite shops, but quite close to the White
Eagles public house, which serves meals and has a beer garden.
There is lots of accommodation in the local area, from hotels,
holiday cottages, to bed and breakfast accommodation.

Near the Rhoscolyn Beach car park there is a quaint house with
unusual architecture. Just in front of it is what looks like
an ancient
burial chamber.
I photographed it in the spring - hence the daffodils. I understand
that it is probably not a genuine ancient monument.
