Rhondda Valleys - More photos and News about Ynyshir.The following photographs were sent in by the extended family of the Rees's who lived in Aldergrove Road in Ynyshir.I well remember Val Rees, who kept a small holding at the top of Upper Gynor, with pigs, chickens and other animals. I would spend hours there feeding his horse 'Bobby'. Sadly Val took his own life in the 1960's. Val was a lovely fella.
