The following photographs were sent in by the extended family of the Rees's who lived in Aldergrove Road in Ynyshir.I well remember Val Rees, who kept a small holding at the top of Upper Gynor, with pigs, chickens and other animals. I would spend hours there feeding his horse 'Bobby'. Sadly, Val passed away in the 1960's, but is remembered as someone who always had time for everyone, even us children.
