This place has really come on in leaps and bounds, as I discovered in March of 2009 when my wife and I took one of our grandchildren to Pilis Palas butterfly palace near Menai Bridge on Anglesey.

Of course there are butterflies, but as the photos I have taken here show, there is much more besides. My grand-daughter was lucky enough to get to hold a Royal Python named Sabrina, thanks to a particularly helpful young man that worked there.

Pilis Palas was awarded - for the second year running - Best Family Attraction by readers of the North Wales Chronicle. If the locals like it, then you can take it as read that it must be good!

There is much more to see and do - especially for the children - than this page can possibly show.
