Bangor in North Wales is one of the most interesting and well known of places. It is known as the city of learning, due to its' beautiful university.

Bangor is also home to the lovely cathedral, which is in the centre of the shopping streets.

With several hotels and other types of accommodation, it is the ideal place to visit. It is also just across the Menai Straits to Anglesey. The restored Bangor Pier is a nice walk on a sunny day.
