The gestation period of a Grey Seal is 12 months, and they often return to the same spot to give birth each year. One of these spots is at 'Rocky Coast' near the Breakwater Quarry Park in Holyhead. They remain in this area for several weeks why they build up the strength to make it on their own. During this time, the mother and the father are never far away.
