Grey Seals on the Island of Anglesey in North Wales. Grey Seals on Rocky Coast in Holyhead. The gestation period of a Grey Seal is 12 months, and they often return to the same spot to give birth each year. One of these spots is at 'Rocky Coast' near the Breakwater Quarry Park in Holyhead. They remain in this area for several weeks why they build up the strength to make it on their own. During this time, the mother and the father are never far away. See more photographs of Grey Seals at Puffin Island. Click on the photographs to see them in high resolution. Some of the photos may have been taken with my trusted Fuji 4m pixels camera, and many will be taken with my 8m pixels Olympus Evolt E-500 digital slr camera, which now offers me many more options, not least of which is a decent zoom lens that allows me to take photographs I could otherwise not.
