Butterflies on the Island of Anglesey in North Wales. Speckled Wood Butterfly
Speckled Wood Butterfly The Speckled Wood butterfly is quite a common British butterfly, and it is possible to get some lovely photographs of them, not least because they often seem unafraid of a photographer getting too close to them. Click on the images to see them in high resolution.
Some of the photos may have been taken with my trusted Fuji 4m pixels camera, and many will be taken with my 8m pixels Olympus Evolt E-500 digital slr camera, which now offers me many more options, not least of which is a decent zoom lens that allows me to take photographs I could otherwise not.
