Flowers have been laid at the Holyhead War Memorial to express the heart felt sympathy of the town for the family of Drummer Lee James Rigby, a 25 year old member of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion, Corps of Drums, who was so tragically and cruelly murdered in Woolwich on Wednesday 22nd May 2013.

I doubt the family will yet appreciate the depth of feeling and emotion that this tragedy has evoked throughout the entire United Kingdom. Lee James Rigby - to the vast majority of us - represents all of our sons and grandsons, and we feel his loss as though it was our own.

God Bless and R.I.P. Lee James Rigby.
