Llanberis

Llanberis is situated up in the Snowdonia Mountain range in North Wales. Apart from the beauty of the place, it is also where one catches the mountain train to Snowdonia, a must-do experience if only for the sheer pleasure of the views.

Llanberis is a lovely place to visit, with plentiful walks (to the top of Snowdon if you wish) or just to chill in a local cafe with a coffee. But do make sure to experience a trip on the mountain railway, which takes you right to the top of Snowdon mountain.
