Holyhead War Memorial – Remembrance Parades

Holyhead continues to remember the servicemen and women who ‘gave their today for our tomorrows’, and the nearest Sunday to the anniversary of the armistice -at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month i.e. November 11th – (known as remembrance day or remembrance Sunday) townspeople gather to remember the fallen of the 20th century wars and conflicts.
