Snowdonia

Snowdon – Cadair Idris and Dyssyni valley

The Snowdonia mountain range in Wales is one of the jewels in the crown of the country. A trip on the miniature railway to the peak of Snowdon is highly recommended.

The area is popular with climbers and walkers, but care must be taken, especially when the weather is unsuitable, even for the professionals amongst you.

One of my favourite pastimes is to take a picnic beside one of the many lakes (the lake is Llyn in welsh) and just let the world pass me by. Lake (Llyn) Gwynant is a nice one to sit beside.
